Wishbone
The dance collective Bufo Makmal in WISHBONE deals with "what sits in their bones". Habitual movements patterns are understood as composition that already exists, which are then amplified and underlined. The dance piece itself is balancing between memory, the present and the imagination and gradually weaves the boundaries between bone-hard reality, desire and illusion.

VIEL.ES
VIEL.ES (Much) is the answer to ALL.ES (Everything), hence an emphasis on the individual, following a collective transformation of the same. The dancer's collective, Bufo Makmal, creates an innovative setting that grapples with context in playful ways; the production principle stemming from an individual interpretation of the same tasks, as does the composition derived from this process. Through the use of signals, a web is created that leads to unpredictable encounters and separations that are facilitated by an incohesive, non-psychological approach. It's celebrating movement and searches for the joy of most possible freedom off own expression in simultaneous concordance.

ALL.ES
Inspired by the holistic worldview Bufo Makmal attempts in its dance performance to portray the one as the whole, the diverging, the seperated and everything in between. The choreography of the young group draws out something not quite final. Moving out of inertia creates a shimmering continuity, a fusion of bodies into a complete whole. Fluctuating between time and space and in the next minute bursting and splitting apart. Mechanical comformity stands opposite developing harmony, and above all lies a rising and pulsating texture.
